Penghargaan Golden Globes ke-78 kembali digelar pada Minggu (28/2/2021), dengan dipandu oleh Tina Fey dari Rainbow Room di Rockefeller Center di New York, dan Amy Poehler dari Beverly Hilton di Los Angeles.

Penghargaan khusus tahun ini menampilkan banyak sutradara wanita, acara TV dan film-film yang menarik, serta kisah-kisah masyarakat kulit hitam yang patut diperhatikan. Selain itu penghargaan khusus Golden Globes 2021 dianugerahkan kepada ikon film Jane Fonda dan perintis televisi Norman Lear.
